Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, dear parents!
Welcome to 3rd grade! I cannot wait to spend this year with your child, learning with and from them. I hope we can work together to make this an enriching and productive school year.
As I get to know your child, I hope to teach him or her in a way that suits his or her needs and interests. This will help students in our classroom reach their fullest potential. In addition to classroom activities, lessons, and projects, there will be regular homework and assignments that students will have time to work on in class. Any work that is not completed in class will be expected to be finished at home and brought to class by the due date.
Communication between the teacher and parents is the key to a successful classroom experience. Your child will be bringing home an agenda that will be used to write down homework and reminders. Please ensure that you have signed your child’s agenda every day so I know you are being kept up-to-date with what we are doing in the classroom.
Please note that we have a no candy policy at our school. Students are expected to come to school with healthy lunches and snacks. In addition to lunch time, students are given a 10 minute snack break before first recess.
If you have any questions at any time throughout the school year, please do not hesitate to contact me through my website or send a note with your child.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. I am looking forward to the 2017-2018 year!
